I use Gaelic in my writing, so it's nice to see someone else use an older language in fiction.

From what I could tell, you did okay. I didn't see anything out of place.

Thanks Joseph. I really appreciate that. I felt it important to do my best to (as authentically as i can) include Gaelic as it’s so central to the mythology of the Aes Sidhe. It’s gratifying to hear Im landing close enough to pass. Takes quite a bit of work to represent it properly.

I've been learning it in bits and pieces, as I write. Sometimes, the whole sentence doesn't look right to me. But I chalk that up to regional dialects. I've been using Scots-Gaelic in my writings.

It makes me want to find a person who speaks gaelic and pay to take classes.

You could try Tad Hargrave. He's got a substack newsletter.

Pretty sure he's fluent/mostly fluent in scots-gaelic. I've been trying to focus in on Irish-gaelic because of the closer proximity to the Fey.
